Oh, when I said that it doesn't matter where you move the flower, that's true while you copy. Before you save the good flower that you want to save for SCAL, I believe it needs to be on the page drawn in the Inkscape window, so you'll need to drag it onto the page if it isn't already there. I'm not 100% positive about that, but I think it's right.
