I had to think when I cut this out last night too. This is different from other board books that I make where you can cut all the pages at the same heigth since there are things on the tops of some of the pages (reindeer and sleigh). So not all of the pages are going to be the same size in heigth. What I did was start with the last page (page 7; the one with a sleigh on top) and cut it at a 7" tall. Make sure you check the 'keep proportions' box before you type in 7' into the heigth box. After I cut page 7, I left it open in SCAL while I imported the next page(page 6). By leaving it open, you can use it as a guide for sizing the next page. Once you have page 6 sized correctly, you can then delete page 7 from the SCAL, cut page 6, and repeat the process until you finish cutting the book. Now, you don't have to cut it at a 7" like I did. You can be the judge of that and cut it however you want, just start with that last page so you can follow the steps above for sizing.

Ooh, one more thing that I did. While you are cutting these, write down the heigth and width of each page you cut. That way you will have a record of it when you want to cut the patterned paper or cardstock to go over the chipboard. It makes life so much easier. I hope that makes sense!!! Good luck! :)

I started my book today. I am on page 3. I should have it done before the weekend is over.

Ok, after I wrote that post, I got to thinkin' that I would try to list exact measurements....If you are cutting these on a 12x12 mat, here are the sizes for each page. This would be the biggest you could cut it on a 12x12 and it is perfect to me. These are width x heigth.

Page 1= 2.55 x 6.62

Page 2= 5.52 x 4.66

Page 3= 5.26 x 4.66

Page 4= 7.48 x 6.64

Page 5= 9.22 x 6.61

Page 6= 10.42 x 6.74

Page 7= 11.21 x 6.45

Let me know if that helps! :)

kermetta....I had trouble getting those to weld in Inkscape for some reason when I created the file. When you open them in SCAL (I use SCAL2) if you will select the weld option, they cut pefect. I have cut each and they cut fine. Hope that helps hon! :) Good luck!!!! I am working on the book still. I have had so much DT work, I haven't been able to finish up. I have a crop this weekend and hope to complete it then. So I will post mine this weekend for yall to see.

Wow, this is really amazing! You are a wonderful creator of word books - or should I say shapebooks.
