wikimedia also has many sports logos in svg format. It is usually the first link that comes up in a google search.

What I am finding now on sports pages, or logo pages, are png files, and not SVG. I am looking for Ole Miss or Mississippi State
and they come up as pngs...
Does anyone have a file of either they are will ing to share?

I have found that if you google the logo, i.e. Mississippi State logo vector (or svg), and then look for the posting from Wikipedia, there is often a logo there with a link right under the image that shows a svg file. If you just right click and do a save as, it will usually show you that it is saving in svg format. I found this for Mississippi state, but not for Ole Miss; however there are lots of images that are large enough and clear enough to be traced.
