Thank you so much for posting a version for us not-so-lucky 6x12 mat users! :D I love your blog and drooled over your cookie boxes and was so sad that I couldn't cut them. I've since cut out the cookie tower version for the 6x12 mat and it turned out beautifully! I added a 3 inch strip all the way around to cover up the seam. I also made the window a little bit wider and added half circles on the top and bottom to dress it up a bit. (I hope that's okay!) I wanted to share it with you but this is my first attempt with attaching photos here so hopefully I can figure it out. ;)

My only question is ... and maybe I'm the only one who can't figure it out ... how on earth does the bottom of the box fold up? For the life of me, I can't figure it out! Thanks again for such a beautiful box!

Kimmers, that turned out fabulous!!! Thanks for sharing a pic!

As for the bottom of the box, you don't need adhesive. It fits together snugly. If you are looking at the front of the box, the flap on the right is the one that all the other flaps fit into. Put the front and back into the right flap first, then fit in the left hand side flap. Easy as pie! (Maybe not intuitive, but easy!)

Absolutely beautiful...thanks for some additional ideas for customizing a great design, too!

Thanks Melinda! I think my pregnant brain was just working against me on this one, lol! Now that you have explained it I feel silly for not figuring it out. :)
