Shelly, can u explain the steps of your card.
Do you use layers for this . I haven't mastered layers yet. i have seen some tuts. on it but need to watch and do as i go.

That's pretty simple to do in SCAL2 or Inkscape. Import the flower mesh into SCAL2, make two identical hearts, Position one over the mesh where you like how it looks. Select the heart and the mesh, Path/Intersection. Now overlap the hearts and either use Path/Union or weld them together. :D

I am gonna go try. I didn't realize that that would make the remaining mesh disappear.. Thanks.

I did it. :lol: cut it :) cool concept. i need to let my brain roam more.

LOL, I'm not sure? I just looked back and I think I flipped it to get the line (on the right) to be off the cutting surface on the left... I guess I could have just nudged it over to the right, and got that line off? HA! I'm a dork. :lol: If you cut it as is, that visable, vertical line cuts too. :?
