I tried something else with a picture. Not sure if you can see this but it shows the library with labeled folders but there is nothing in any of them.

I have a possible solution to this:

Can you make sure the user did not move the Sure Cuts A Lot program out of the /Applications/Sure Cuts A Lot folder. Sometimes users will drag the application file out to the Desktop and then it cannot load the files as it expects everything to be in the same folder as the application.

OMG! Sandy, that is brilliant. It is exactly what I did. I returned the application to its folder and opened SCAL 4 from the applications area and low and behold there are the missing files in the library. I forgot that MAC's don't automatically create a desktop shortcut. I have a PC but am using the program on my MAC as it is more portable. Thanks for sticking with this. You are the best. Now on to the SCAL 4 beginner's classes. WooHoo!
