Not sure what you mean. The problem this poster had has nothing to do with SCAL and would have also happened had she tried to use CDS or the Gypsy since both of those require firmware updates, too.

I've never heard of people having trouble after uploading SCAL. This is the first I've seen. I hope she updates with her status. I'd like to know how it worked out. Good luck! (Great info, by the way, Todd!)
