That is good to know, I wouldn't have guessed that.
I generally use the buttons to push the shapes to the upper and left boundaries as it is easier than moving it. Now I'll know not to do that.

What I used to do was use the buttons to align to the boundaries and then the nudge buttons to move it so that it was right next to the boundary, but not touching it. Always use the Preview button when you are cutting open Paths in SCAL2 to make sure that they will cut correctly. HTH
