Aren't the people in our families lucky to have crafty & artistic people like us! Great job on the skirts gj. I'm sure your daughter will love them. I really like the way our crafts overlap then we get to use our toys for various projects. To me it's a win-win.

I don't do much sewing anymore but I did a lot back in the day. I also dabbled in stained glass, tole painting (quit that),crocheting and of course, paper crafting. I never could get the hang of knitting.

Great job gj1.. I love them. .I'm an elastic girl as well.more room to expand over any huge meals..hahah..

Wow! Just got to peruse a bit here, this summer has been crazy busy! Your dresses you make are so adorable. And...your granddaughter is so sweet! You are so talented! It's amazing what you come up with with all your talent. Glad I checked in to see it!

We are coming thru that way in the near future for a trip to the Eastern Provinces and back around the Great Lakes. I hope the hot spots and fires are under control now. We have had an unusual summer here but with storms and rain. Fortunately, no drought here. Very hot though. We are west of you in the northern part of MN.

Thanks so much Deb.. We still have fires burning in Ontario but none so far that are out of control. The one still burns near us but basically hotspots.. They said it can burn up to 3 months.. The snow will probably get here first..haha.. It sure has been a crazy summer. temperature wise..
