I bought a large roll from signwarehouse.com but I think you can get smaller quantities from the rhinestone supply places.

firstcut wrote:Magnet sheets work wonderfully. They cut like butter but give a nice crisp edge for the embossing. Even better is rhinestone rubber.
The plastic cutting mats are hard to cut because, well, they are made to resist cutting :)

Is this the stuff you are talking about if it is not which one is it? ...Please

Lol, Kay, bit more expensive then the magnets! Which was a great idea, by the way. I have made quite a few things with them. How does the stencil material work for embossing? Better than the magnets, crisper/ finer lines? Thanks!

The embossing is about the same, but the vinyl is easier to cut which probably translates to somewhat finer lines though I haven't tried head to head examples. Use whichever you have available or can get the cheapest in the quantities you need.

For starter...those that Kay at cleversomeday site showed you...the shoes and the gears....I did both of them and they worked great.

I would be happy to make some for you...if you give me a direction of what you would like.

Here are some differing sizes of polka dots I have used for embossing.
