problem with shadowing some fonts

I find I have this problem too, esp. when I size the font bigger and shadow it and the shadow goes all wonky. Only in certain sizes increases, not all of them.

Just curious, but what makes this work???? Is it because it recognizes a and treats a shape differently than a font?

Make sure your using the latest update. It says you updated to 2.043, but the most current one (and last one) is 2.044.
