help designing

These are the notes I took regarding this:

Bulge Inkscape

Open Ink
Type Text
Select all
Path - Union
Path - Break Apart
Select all - Combine
Path - Path Effect Editor
Envelope-Deformation-Add
Top Bend
Bottom Bend
Keep Selected
Path-Object to Path(no more able to alter)(disappears)

or

Top Bend, Bottom Bend and nudge center of lines between nodes up or down

Thanks so much!! This is helping... I'm having trouble with the middle of my word, however. I can bend the top & the bottom on both sides but I can't figure out how to warp/bend the center part of my school name.
Does anyone have any further info for me?

I think you still just use the top or bottom bend and then left click on mouse with arrow cursor on the line and pull(drag)the line where you want it. Sorry but I only tried once myself as I wrote down the notes for future reference. Good luck with it.

You have been a TON of help! I'm getting there...I'm sure there are other people who can do this and get it to look perfect but I'm learning and you have helped me out a lot
