txmomof2boys if you use the breakapart feature on the items posted you will just get the base cut... I hope this helps you...
Re: I need a few things..
try looking for dingbats - there is a barnyard font and an equestrian dingbat- google search farm animal dingbats - there are a lot of free ones out there. I have a peanut but it is in the shell.
This is such a frustrating thing, sorry your are having trouble. Wish I could be of more help.

Re: I need a few things..
You could have used the blackout feature and just cut out the shape instead of the paper piecing. and yes, you did come off as being rude. We don't mind helping out our fellow SCAL users but it seemed like you were demanding files and wanting them NOW. If I remember correctly, you have sent out a list of what you needed before on another project and we all rallied around to help you. I haven't checked but have you contributed anything to this forum in the way of advice or files or are you always asking for something? I went thru Susan Bluerobots Inkscape tutorials one step at a time and learned Inkscape that way. I had two screens up on my computer and toggled back and forth. I don't mind helping anyone on this forum but people have to learn to help themselves at some point.

Jo-AnneB please don't feel that way. You personally have helped me before and I truly appreciate it! You inspired me to get more expeienced with inkscape and that has helped me a LOT.
If txmomof2boys truly doesn't feel her comment was rude, we were raised very differently. I had actually been looking for images for her when I read her response to Sue and quit.
It was apparent from her initial post that she was trying to do something nice for her son's school and was frustrated that she was having a hard time finding the images. Unfortunately her frustration and lack of time for searching was channeled into what I think almost everyone would think was a rude response. I wish her luck in her project and hope she has better searching results in the future.

But I didn't take it as a rude response.. She suggested the search option as did others... ... I'm sure if tx stated she had searched and couldn't find anything that papasue wouldn't have suggested it.. I'm not jabbing at tx for this as well as I certainly do understand her frustration.. I've been there done that.. I hope she continues to come to our forums as I wouldn't want anyone to give up on us... I think it's just one of those responses where you don't know how to take it..

I didn't think Sue's response (papasue) was rude either Jo-AnneB. I did think tx's was.
