You guys are adventurous. I think those cupcake wrappers were laser cut. It would be a real challenge to make something so intricut, but there is some real talent on this forum. It wouldn't surprise me if someone actually replicates this. Can't wait to see.

lindamac, what is meant by "sample" ? i looked at the site but didn't look deep enough to see how you would get a sample of something as opposed to a complete one.

This is a gorgeous box, something I could see using at my wedding. But $50 (I am sure that's USD too, so even more) for 25, ouch. Please if anyone does make this once they figure it out I would dearly love to have it. It's beautiful. Thank you in advance :)

P.S. I do mean the original filigree box, not the cupcake wrapper--I say this because until I clicked the link at the top of the original post, I thought the butterfly cupcake wrapper was what people were talking about! (And apparently, some people ARE talking about the cupcake wrapper.) So, just to avoid confusion. Thanks again :)

And interestingly enough, the samples are cheaper than the actual boxes??? ($1.50 vs $2.00).

When you look at the pic in the first link... and then compare it to the one posted at Paper Orchid's website (the makers of the box) this one is put together incorrectly... the rounded tops should be showing-- they aren't tabs to hide inside!
Not to mention that they took the picture with the open side seam showing-- I would have definitely thought that should have been hidden away in the back!! Oh well, it still is a pretty box. ;)

I'll let you know when it arrives. Ha, if nothing else I will mail it to Todd, not that Todd and let him have a go at it.

Who wants to test cut what I have so far? Right now I just need to know if the tabs work. You will have to use your bone crusher to make the scribe lines. Haven't gotten that far.
