Wall quote help

Post by susiecm3 »

I am looking at quotes online but thinking should I just try it myself? I have an expression which I do not use as much as I should, how hard is it to do? I have a 12x24 mat and have seen the vinyl, but dont know how I would start with sizing etc, can you buy ready made files?

Thanks
Susan

If you have SCAL and a Cricut Expression, I'd say its absolutely worth giving it a try. My first vinyl project was not so much hard as it was time consuming. IIRC, I spent about 90 minutes setting it up in SCAL and then about an hour weeding the vinyl and getting it on the transfer tape.

With the 12x24 mat, you are in great shape!

Good luck to you.

If you don't mind spending a little time on your own design it is well worth it. You get the size, color, and look you want. I think the hardest part is getting the vinyl on the wall straight and you have to do that whether you cut it out yourself or buy ready made.
