Shapes not closing?!! Help!

Even after emailing Craft Edge, I still have no resolution to this problem. They emailed me back a couple of times, and the last word I had from them was this:

Hi Heather
Just to update you, we are seeing if we can add some sort of workaround.
The main problem is that the cricut is not really capable of cutting things that small very well.

Unfortunately, the cricut is not the most accurate machine for cutting precisely.

Shortly after I got this email, they released SCAL 3, which no longer supports circut as far as I am aware.

While I agree with the statement that circut is not the most accurate machine, it is still CAPABLE of cutting in the sizes that I need; as evidenced in the ability to accurately cut shapes directly from the cartridges in the smaller sizes that I need. I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with Craft Edge in this.
