Bulletin Boards

Post by kimberlyjoy »

I looked everywhere for a bulletin board set that I liked that incorporated the circus theme, but couldn't find one that fit the bill. Then I found these adorable files from Scrappy Dew. I blew them up to bulletin board size, created the flag banner, and voila! a bulletin board to set the stage for a great school year! The red/white tent is two plastic table covers cut into strips, and sewed together to create a tent effect. Total cost for the board: about $25 compared to the $75 that most of my co-workers spent. I hope this inspires other teachers to think outside of the box when it comes to boards.

WOW What a lot of work! I used to teach and always went way out on the boards too but that was back before the internet and plotters so I had to do it all freehand! I for one can appreciate the time and effort that went in to this board. Hope you have a wonderful school year!

I was going to try to share it with Scrappy Dew, but I didn't see a place on their website to do so. If anyone has a tip has to how to do that, feel free to pass it on!
