Changed Eagle .svg--Please help

Can someone help me to add a shape/image to an eagle file file?

I want to add come color in his wings. So I just need some sort of a shape added to each of his wings or in that area--I would layer it over top of the original image. When I try to shadow the whole image to make it two colors layered that way--the outside shadow doesn't look right. I want to make this eagel school colors so I need a two-color/cut combo.

I attached the eagle I am trying to change a bit, if someone could help me out?

I could not come up with anything visually appealing to me when trying to add a shape on top of the wing. I know you didn't care for the whole shadow, but I shadowed only the wings. Honestly, if you don't like it my feelings won't be hurt at all. Maybe someone more creative can come up with a design for you.

First I used the pen tool and drew around the parts I wanted to separate. Then I selected both parts and did a path-division. Then I selected the wings and offset them until I had the size outline that I thought looked okay (you can hold down the shift+Ctrl keys and tap on the ")" until you get the outset you want) . Hope this helps.

I forget to mention that if you open my file, you can just pull apart the shadow piece.
