Buying t-shirt vinyl

Post by dolanqt »

Hi everyone,

I have a question. I would like to buy some t-shirt vinyl to try out and see how I like it but I have only found two sites that sell what I am looking for and only craftvinyl has a good supply of the glitter. The problem that I am coming across is the shipping. I know both H & H and craftvinyl have buy a certain amount and get free shipping but I don't want to spend that much mooney as I have never even used the product before. Any suggestions? Do any stores sell heat transfer vinyl? I live in the chicago area.

THANKS :D

Call a shop that does the iron on transfers and screenprinting of T-shirts. They might have some iron on vinyl. Living in the Chicago area, there has to be at least one.

There is a shop in St. Charles,IL that sells heat set vinyl. I have ordered from them before and have been happy. If you aren't too far maybe you can make a road trip.

On SmartBuyGal forum there are people who do shares on vinyl and heat transfer vinyl. I have been involved in several shares and have been very happy with it. They order large quantities and split them up. By doing this they get a better price and free shipping. People pay through paypal so there are paypal fees and shipping to you. The best part is you can get different colors at the price of large orders and only get a small amount of each.

Thanks for the tip. I've been searching ebay and have found some good deals on regular vinyl but not on heat tranfer vinyl. I will give smarbuygal a try.
