Hi,
I'm not sure why this is happening. I fill an object with a pattern but when trying to print it, it doesn't show the pattern at all?? It's pretty much a blank sheet with other labels etc...but no background image. I thought maybe it might be a fluke and printed anyway...but , yep, it printed blank. Please, if you can, please help me.
Thank you ,
Best,
Ken
No pattern showing up in print preview?
Re: No pattern showing up in print preview?
So sorry for the delay.
What exact version of SCAL are you using and Mac or PC? I'll try to duplicate the issue.

Re: No pattern showing up in print preview?
Hi Sandy, thank you for responding (as usual...you are the best!). I did figure out the problem...user error...as usual!
Turned out I did not have an outline of the pattern I was trying to cut.
But while I have you ...is there a good reference on cutting force per material and speeds etc...somewhere? Also, I make two products, would you set the height of the blade each and every time you are about to cut? Or pretty much only when you change out the blade?
Thank you,
Best,
Ken

Here's a table of suggested settings for the Skycut C model. As always you must do test cuts to make sure you have REALLY clean results before proceeding. Note that the table is also linked on my Skycut support page on my own web site:

Regarding the blade, are you referring to blade exposure or blade tip height above the material? And, of course, the answer to both will depend on how different the two materials are. If they're both, say, sticker sheet brands, the same could be used. But if one is laminated and the other is not, then that's enough of a difference that I wouldn't be using the same.
