Deactivate?

Post by Seaexplore »

Hi guys. I'm running SCAL2 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8. I was able to run the program just fine for years and recently it's started crashing the program while I'm designing. I can return to only the current page I'm working on but the rest of my project is gone. When I go back to it, I can click and do a few things and it crashes again. In an attempt to fix it, I trashed the program, emptied the trash, shut down/restart, reset the pram, reset my serial number, redownloaded and reinstalled the program. The new program will not open and I keep getting the crash message. I did not deactivate it before deleting the program. Any ideas of what to do? I emailed support and haven't heard back yet. :( I'm lost without my SCAL! Thanks!

I use scal2 on my Mac, same version without crashing but a little flakey at times.

Consider upgrading to scal4, you can have both programs in your apps folder. Create in scal4 and send to scal2 to cut.

Let us know if this works!

I don't think I can run SCAL4 on my mac. It's only running 10.5.8

SCAL 2 has been super flaky on me for the past 6 months at least. Annoying at first but it started crashing every 3 clicks of the mouse!

Here is a link to the support for SCAL. Provide them as much information as you have so they can more easily look up your original purchase:
