adding an .svg

why oh whyyyy does my .svg file look like this when I place it on my mat? I am a newbie so ANY advice would be amazing!

I'm sure I can figure it out if I had the actual SVG myself to examine in other applications. By just guessing based on what you're seeing isn't going to accurately diagnose the issue. :( If you want to email it to me, I'll be happy to check it out tomorrow morning (Arizona time).
