Orientation of cut

Post by Lefty »

Hi, I have Windows 10, a Roland GX-24 and SCAL V4. When I place an image on the mat, 12x12, it doesn't cut in the place that I put the image. You have to have the image on the bottom half of the mat, if you have it in the top half of the mat it wont cut, and when it cuts the image it is in the opposite place to where it should be and rotates 90 degrees. I have changed the orientation but it doesn't make a difference. Very confused! Any help would be appreciated. thanks

HI there
Little confused by your post - what is your scal set to cut as WISIWIG OR ORIGIN POINT OR CENTRAL ?? If it is set to Origin point it should start cutting from the right hand corner point of the design no matter where the object is set on the mat !

Look carefully at the cutting dialog box - the image in there will show you where SCAL thinks it is about to cut the object

Test it out - if it doesn't work post a snap shot of your cutting dialog box before you send it to cut which might help work out what is going on
