Slash cuts -- oh no!!

Post by janekinso »

Can someone help? I'm cutting the shoe from SVGcuts Love Always file. Yesterday every shoe cut perfectly, but today I'm getting slash cuts across the pieces numbered 1 and 2. :( I shut everything down and then rebooted but that has not changed the issue. My cutter is a SB 13", and I'm using Win 7 64 -bit and SCAL 4. TIA for any help that you can provide.

The problem is solved. The cutting mat is warped, and the blade slashed where it shouldn't as it moved across a hump in the mat that it couldn't get high enough to avoid. To make certain of this, I used an eClips mat that I have on hand and the file cut perfectly. Therefore, new mats are in order. So happy that the issue is not serious. :D My IT support (hubby) discovered this when he returned home this morning. He's so handy to have around.
