I started a Case for you at the What the Font Forum. Hopefully somebody there will recognize the font for you.

I have beed reading some posts about this font. Someone at the MTC forum bought this font and when they went to install it, it was an Open Type Font and it wouldn't work with Make The Cut. Do you plan to use this for 1 word projects?

SCAL (I believe all versions) can use the basic characters from OTF, but not the extra glyphs. The same is true of Inkscape. I wish this would be fixed, but the only programs that I know of that use the extra OTF glyphs are Illustrator and to a lesser extent Photoshop (CC/CS). :(

If you are just using this for one project, you might be able to trace the letters. What word do you want to cut?

oh no, i just bought it to use with SCAL. :( I can see the glyphs in my charmap on Windows but can't seem to move them over. I was watching a video and in Silhouette software you can copy and paste into it.

There should be a way to do it by holding down the ALT key and then entering a code. If you do a little research in Google, you might find an answer.

Theresa,
Try this with the Samantha font.

In SCAL, select the Samantha Font. Then, in Windows Character Map, Select the Samantha font in the drop down window. Locate the character, click on Select, then click on Copy. In SCAL, open the Text input window and do a Ctrl+V to paste in the character. You'll just see a dot or dots, but once you click on Accept, the alternatives show up on the Virtual Mat.I
