I bet the answer is somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Searched forum, watched vids...So:
My green mat has small border and then numbers from "0" to 12. (Actually, the number zero isn't there but the line is.) The virtual mat looks the same in blue BUT there are dashed lines inset about 1/4"--that is, the "origin" algerbraicly speaking is at (.25,.25)) Where do I place the letters ON THE VIRTUAL MAT so when I place the paper on the green cutting mat at (0,0) it cuts correctly? ...Is it at the dashed line corner (.25,.25) on the virtual mat or the real corner of the blue grid?

Re: cutting mat lines?
It would help to know what mats you are using? Cameo, Eclips, Cricut? I'm thinking not Eclips, because they are blue.

Re: cutting mat lines?
Cricut. Sorry. I just ran a test and it appears you must use the dashed lines on the virtual mat and it aligns exactly on the actual mat--that is, the most upper left cut you will get will be at .25, .25 not zero, zero--so if you are placing small pieces of paper to cut, centering makes a difference.
