I have activated my SCAL 2 on my 10.68 Intel Core Mac and hooked up my Cricut Personal with 1.3 Firmware, so all the criteria is compatible. So, why do I get a dialog box that says either "Getting Cartridge" or "Checkin Mat"? I put only one letter on the page to limit the information, and it is stuck!!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!! I paid a lot of money for this since it is no longer available!

You will not beable to activate the software, if you purchased from some private party, after it was no longer for sale from the company. The present situation is because the software is not activated. The software is non-transferable.

Assuming your software is properly activated, search this forum for similar problems and I believe you will find a solution. Here is one thread I found referenced as a possible solution, for instance.

Barring that, try contacting tech support, as this seems a common issue and I'm sure they have a workaround for you.
