USB port on cricut expression not working?

It will not recognize the expression on my computer. I've gotten a new cord so I know it's not the cord. Anything I can do to try to fix this? And if it's not fixable is it covered under my 1 yr warranty? It's about 10 months old!

Ashley, are you sure the port is not working...do you have another USB cable you can try?

If your machine is under warranty you might contact the mfg for more help or to get another USB cable.

Just a couple of thoughts.

Yes, like I said, I got a new cord and tried multiple times!

Sounds like a driver issue, but I could be wrong. Are you using scal and what version? If it is scal 2, you could update the driver through the Help section within scal at the top left.

If it is ecal, this might help...depending on your computer type...

You should also update the version of scal to the latest of whatever you have here

If you are using a newer E2...it will not work with scal and you would need to contact PC with your situation.
