I think Nebraska is pretty and I have lots of relatives there around the Lincoln Omaha area. My dh hates the humidity that is why we moved. I have come to love Wyoming and our kids love it too as they grew up here.

Thanks. It's not huge, it's about 9x10.

Thanks. I guess you could say it's traced, just not in the normal way you'd trace.
I imported the pic into Inkscape and made a bitmap of it.

I don't know if this would help some who want to try but I tried to explain what I did when I created a silhouette of my dad recently...http://thealliancetrader.blogspot.com/2 ... scape.html

It may help to get you started...probably other ways to do it but it's what I did.

Hi, I know you by your screen name, this is gj, and I LOVE what you've done here. Color photo to black and white, I am assuming... Was there a whole lot of work to do on it in inkscape? Well, I understand if you don't answer here, but I sure do appreciate seeing this work you've done. Wow, I may just have to give this a try. I have only worked with vinyl &transfer tape once..it is a little tricky, but gosh, look how beautiful your results are. TFS and see you round this place. Bye.
