Not sure what you're doing with this, but how about a pair of flip flops, or maybe shells, starfish, or sand dollars? Beach chair or umbrella? Sunglasses?

Oh, I may add to it...but the purpose was to stir up a bit more activity from you and other's here...so feel free to make one of your ideas and post it. It does not have to be on this thread....post your own...just trying to get some Spring and Summer ideas going. Also, someone could take a try at a better sand castle...lol

gj, I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your challenge to play at the beach but have been busy "learning". I never worked much with layers in Inkscape and have been drawing scenes a couple of which I've put on my blog.

This is still a work in progress but I will finish it and post the svg file on my blog.

Hope this helps get the ball rolling of all you can do, mix and match to make a beach scene.
