Challenge...NOT so 'cute' designs

Post by gj1 »

Let's see if we can make some designs that are not so 'cute'.

I like this one, it has some interesting positive and negative shapes! I am going to try to cut it today! Thanks for listening gj1.

You may want to do a back minus front on the sun and the bg and give it another solid bg. Can never be sure if others like layers or the least amount of layers and piecing possible. You can play with it. Glad you like it.

Here this is again in a more simple cut of 2 layers.

I'll play. If you like printables heres one I've been working on. Lots of filters/extensions. I've made a mat with dots instead of line border so that one could use (may I say sissors) to cut around the design.

I don't think this is too CUTE!

I like it. I think I may cut the flower out of a second print so I can give it some depth! Thanks for playing!

Thanks Jan, I just added the svg to my original post if that helps you jazz it up some more. I'd love to see what you do with it. :)

I love this and wanted to change up the colors...but could not open in SCAL...
I can open in Ink but can't figure out how to change it to an .svg that will open in scal.
I know it is something relatively simple...but I forget.
Can you do that, Susan?

G, SCAL does not like the filters/extensions I used on the design. I only intended the file to be printed not cut.

Here are all the pieces in Inkscape for you, because I love you :) to color and assemble as you like.

The original png file can be placed in SCAL2 for printing just fine, along with the sissors cut line for those of you into printables.
