No. SCAL was sued by Provo Craft over the Cricut's being able to connect to SCAL2 for cutting. This forced SCAL to remove that capability from all future SCAL releases. However, you can use SCAL 3 - 5 for designing cut files and exporting as SVG for Cricut's Design Space which works with the newer Cricuts. Personally, I think it makes more sense to dump Cricut and look at all of the other amazing cutters on the market that WILL cut from SCAl.
