I upgraded to 32 bit pro 5 and cannot import embroidery files or preview them help

What is the specific file format you're trying to import and what exactly happens? Are you using File>Import?

I am trying to use file / import to import a pes file. The new version says you can import embroidery files. I uninstalled software and reinstalled and some will import and show in preview window but not many
