Working with Foam and custom shapes - which machine is best?

Heyo - I'm planning to do some designs using craft foam, and figured one of these die-cutters would likely be cheaper than taking it someplace and having it done (wanting to assemble multiples of individual designs, all custom).

So, specs are pretty simple:
1) cheapish if possible (say under $250)
2) handles craft foam
3) needs to work with SCAL (or something like it)

Also, do you know if it's possible to import Illustrator/vector art through SCAL?

Not sure about which cutter cuts through foam, but if you are in Illustrator, you can save any vector art in svg format. However, I don't think scal will take ai format (Illustrator files) directly into it, as far as I know.
