Take the blade out of the blade holder periodically (actually remove the blade) and clean out any little pieces of paper that might be stuck in the hole where the blade goes. I was getting jagged cuts and sometimes the blade seem to just pull the paper. Thought I might need to change the blade, but then noticed what looked like little paper pieces around the blade.
Popped out the blade, took my little pick tool and gently got the paper pieces out.
Put the same blade back in and it cut beautifully.
