We have a version of SCAL to work with the eCraft in beta testing right now.
If you are interesting in helping to test out the new version, please email us at
betatest@craftedge.com

and indicate your operating system and what firmware version is on your eCraft (version shown on the display on the eCraft right after you turn it on)

Wish I had one - but I've been delaying any purchase decision until SCAL was compatible! I'll be watching for updates on this!

Do we have an ETA of when SCAL will be available to use with the eCraft?

If you already have an Ecraft, you can contact Craft Edge about testing the Beta version.

I downloaded a trial version that allows the ecraft to work with SCAL but it cuts the lines through the project and does the whole purchase thing. So are we going to have to buy a new license to use SCAL on the Ecraft or just update the license we have now? If we have to purchase another copy of SCAL then when would be a good time to do that?

If you contacted Craft Edge, and they sent you the Beta version to test, you should not have the watermark cuts or be prompted to purchase. You are helping them in testing the software to find improvements for a future release and need to be able to use the complete Beta version.
