Forget it. I figured it out. I have my workspace saved in a way that I like. When I went into window->workspace->basic, the personal library showed up. Now, to see if it will load all of my SVG's!

I DID IT!! I bit the bullet and downloaded it this a.m. I LOVE it!! I am so glad I cleaned house yesterday, cuz I sure ain't gettin' anything done today!! LOL! I will be playing with my SCAL! No problems yet .................. Barb

Okay..so I want to take the plunge and update. Question...how do I do this without losing my current version (just in case)? How do I save my version and do the update? Any help on this is appreciated.

If when you downloaded a previous version and you saved it in a folder on your computer before installing it, the set up file should still be there. I have like 5 different versions saved. I think starting with 2.06 . In windows xp they look like the image below. If you put you mouse over it you can see what version it is.

ooops... Spoke too soon! I am unable to open any of my SCUT's! Nothing shows up in preview and when I try it anyway, I get an "unable to load file" message. Are my SCUT's lost forever? SVG's are fine it is just the SCUT's.

Are you trying to open the files in SCAL or double clicking the files?

Some of your older files you might have to do a File Open in SCAL and then save them again so they will be saved as the latest version of SCAL files.
