Ecal2 not working properly

I am having trouble with my ecal 2 since updating, I now have version 2.016, one cut will be fine, the next off, even after recalibrating, it will start utting 1-1/2 from the start point or it will stop 1/2 way down the mat or it will have a mind of its own and some of the project will cut and some will not, I am truly frustrated, I have both ecal 1 and 2 installed on my computer, projects will cut just fine if cut in ecal 1, not at all right in 2. Help!! I am tired of going back and forth between programs to get my work done. Thank you for your assistance.
