Ecal won't recognize Eclips2

I had the eclips for about 2.5 years and upgraded to the eclips2. I have used the Ecal program the whole time. The program is updated and I have downloaded the Eclips2 drivers. When I go to cut a design it will not switch the model to the eclips 2. I had to download the lite program that came with it, but now I cannot open any of my 100s of designs without purchusing the new program...and I dread thinking about redoing all of my designs! Any help?????

I don't have the eClips2 machine. Perhaps you want to contact CraftEdge support and ask the question.

Did you try cutter/my cutter and see if both your eclips and eclips2 are listed? Maybe you just have to select the cutter. Might have to have the cutter hooked up to the computer.

I had the same problem you did, and this is the solution, you have to gind the setting in the menus, and make sure its set to eclips2.
