using pens

Post by Paula Anne »

I am trying to do a subway art, and instead of cutting, I want to use the pen feature (I have the pen holder), and Draw/write out the design.
I tried it and it only prints/draws parts of the letters.
I tried doing a search, but did not get any returns that answer this question.
Thanks!

Paula Anne,

You might try reinserting the pen/pencil into the carrier with a little more of the point showing. I do this a lot and that has happened to me when the nib of the pen/pencil is not out far enough or too far. Another thing to look at is "nodes" the pen seems to pounce a bit at nodes and too many MAY cause the gap.

Here is a video from Sizzix that uses the controller but the process is the same.

Let us know how you do and what fixed it :)
