project life filler cards HELP!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm a new forum user. I have had my eclips for about a year now with ecal. and I have made something similar before but i cant for the life of me remember how i did it and was wondering if anyone could help me out. what i am wanting to do is like the hello life card and the chevron card http://papercraftplanet.net/2012/02/27/ ... booking-2/ here.. Can anyone help me???

OK, I didn't take the time to find the right font but so long as all the letters are overlapped this should work. Some script fonts are not always connected so look to see that they are.

What you do in eCAL is to select the square frame from the shapes library

type your text and position it within the frame with edges overlapping the inside edge. Since you will want to cut this out I presume you want to ensure that the connection between the text and the edge is sufficient to cut and still hold together.

Select both objects and do a path/union

If this is not the answer you wanted just clarify using this example and in the morning I'll, or someone, will continue to try to help. It is 10:30pm in California and I am a little fuzzy too.
