File Types that eCal P2C supports?

Post by Cheryl1st »

Can someone please tell me what file types the Print to Cut feature on eCal supports? I assumed it supported all that SCAL2 had supported, but the features list on Craft Edge doesn't list them specifically, and I'm not finding it in my Help menu in eCal, either.
Thanks!

Hi,

In the manual (under HELP features it says
Works with thousands of free TrueType, OpenType, and Dingbat/Wingding fonts
Hundreds of free shapes included with thousands more available online
Import various shape file formats, including SVG and PDF (use IMPORT)
Import and Modify Image Files - use JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, and PNG Image Files (use trace image)
I've also opened ai (adobe illustrator) files, using IMPORT

For sure not: MTC, and anything from Cricut Design Studio or its replacement. I don't know about the software from the other cutters, like silhouette, blackcat, etc but I'd guess they could be saved as one of the options above.

That's all I know from experience and since those are easy any others could be converted to one of these I think.

What in particular were you wondering about?
