Help with Project Set up

I'm new to the forum and have a new machine - I have SCALv3Pro and a US Cutter Laserpoint II. (Was using Cricut & design space, but needed more) I need help with a project and how to set it up. The image is a 2 layer vinyl ~3"x3" and I want to make 250 copies of that. I am using 24" wide vinyl. Can someone please get in touch to help set it up correctly? I only seem to be able to set it up on a mat, which I don't need to use with my cutter. Do I duplicate the image on the screen a bunch of times or can I make 1 image and tell it to cut 250 times? Does it maximize space? Can I say I want it to have a 3.5"x3.5" area so I have backing space once it's cut??? I'd appreciate help. Thanks!
