Can anyone tell me what would be the best way to size all components of for example, a football player from the Game Day SVG kit. I've tried everything and I can't get it to work. Any input will be appreciated.

I just drag a box around everything and make sure the Keep Proportions in checked in the Properties Panel...then I take the lower right handle of the box around everything and move it smaller...maybe look at the base portion of the image against the grid in SCAL and when you have that the size you need it then stop. You can then put a box around just that if you use Object Ungroup and drag a box around that and see if it is the exact size you want it...but if not...then you have to go back and drag a box around everything and do that again so all the components will be resized to fit.
