I sent Chad a link to this thread and he's read it. He has a few ideas and will be sending you a response to your ticket. In fact, you should have it by now.

OK... saw the ticket was "updated", but no new content... awaiting his replies.

Thanks!

He said his message didn't get posted because of his location this weekend, but you should have it now.

So, did a reset and temporary usage of USB fix the issue? I've been eager to hear the outcome all day.

Nope. Even tried full deactivating, uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling of SCAL to no avail.

Updated support ticket but nothing from Chad today.

Using the old SCAL didn't work, though Chad did notice an issue with the new version where he'd do a regular origin cut or two and then the PNC "values" would get changed automatically. He's reported it to the developer. The problem didn't show in the previous version.

I tried on (old) SCAL and MTC to do the test square at 1,1 and it still was a rectangle...

At this point KNK is sending a replacement machine and will retrieve this one for diagnostics.

I think that's the correct thing to do. If you're not getting a true square cut from either SCAL or MTC, that tells me it's the cutter.
