Font Names

Post by jj01 »

I would like to be able to look back at a file and see which font I had used. I can't always remember even though I tell myself that I will know. I thought I read somewhere that you could click on your project and it would tell you the font name, but I can't seem to do that.

I know in DSS you can click on an element and it will tell you what cart it originated from but I don't think SCA has that feature.

This would be an awesome feature. To be able to recall the font used. When creating in other programs, that is a much used feature for me.
Thank you, Todd, you've made a whole lot of people VERY happy!!!!

I would think that would be really hard to do since you can import things from Inkscape. SCAL wouldn't know what the font is at that point. If it can't tell what the font is, maybe there could be a notes field attached to a project where we could type that kind of information.

That is an excellent idea, wreed. You should add it into the wishlist thread.
