If would be very useful to assign different cutting pressure and/or number of passes per layer/group.

You can achieve that currently by using the Blade/Prompt option and creating Presets for each layer. I think for some cutters, you can also change the Pressure and Speed and Multi-cut at each prompt, however, for the cutters I support, the slider bars don't work. However, if I have created a Preset for what I want, then I can select that preset during the Pause. See if that will work for your cutter.
