Can`t open files FCM files with SCAL 4

I have SCAL 4 purchased for use with Brother ScanNCut CM700. I can export FCM files, but I can not open or import FCM files.
So I can not edit final FCM files.

Hi Todd,
an FCM file is a proprietary file format of brother cutting machines like the ScanNCut CMxxx models.

Hi,
Is there no statement on the part craftedge/admin, for my question that I can´t open files with FCM SCAL 4?
If it´s not possible, it can be integrated?

My impression is that you need to make all changes/designing in SCAL4 (you should save as scal4), then use the export only when you are ready to cut with your S&C. If you need to make changes to it, you'd need to re-open your scal4 and re-export as the FCM. I don't think they'll import FCM files any time soon. The files scal4 import are universal files, i.e. svg. FCM is proprietary, as are studio files for the Cameo. The images are not intended to be opened by other software or used with other cutting machines.
