I would like to be able to select an object that might contain a word or a phrase and delete it at once. Currently, I'm deleting each individual letter starting from the end to the beginning. I'd like to be able to delete the whole object at once. I'd also like to be able to delete or insert a letter in the middle of a word, or a word in a phrase. Now, I can only delete each letter starting from the end going backwards to where I want to insert or delete something.
Has anybody found a different method for deleting and inserting?
Select an Object
Re: Select an Object
no... I'm hitting the backspace button over, and over, and over... Being able to select the whole word and just hitting delete once would be nice
Re: Select an Object
When you type in your letters, just like you type here in a message, you can delete the entire word just by clicking on it to get the word's 'bounding' box to show. Once you have the bounding box just go Edit/Cut (or keyboard short cut "Ctrl-X").

That's great! Thanks. It works when you want to select one letter too. Any ideas about inserting in the middle of a word or phrase?
