Conical wrap would be slightly different to text on a path

for the latter you would draw a circle and the text run around the inside/outside of that.

for conical wrap it would then wrap around a cone shape (cupcake or mug etc) and you would set the size of the top, bottom and length.

Yes, dragonlord you are correct about typing on an cone or something is not allowed in SCAL but... I was able to type on path for a cupcake wrapper by making a circle/oval about the size and curve of a cupcake wrapper and typed on that. I agree, not the best solution but until CE updates with that feature you can still get text on a wrapper in SCAL.

I use Louise's webpage to work out "cupcake" wrappers - not that I make/use cupcake but.....

I'm sure she posted a pdf here on how to use it etc but it gives you all the measurements needed.

I'll contact Louise and ask if she (or I) can post either the pdf ot just the "how to" if people are interested. it's more a inkscape thing but could possibly be done in scal

Bumping this up to ask if there is any progress on getting this feature in SCAL?

I have tried it out in MTC, but really don't want to purchase another cutting program.

Any news on getting conical warp included in SCAL? Please? Pretty Please?
